Hot Dog Chili
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. dried, minced onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 2 or 3 drops Louisiana hot sauce (more if you like it really hot!)
- Brown the ground beef in Dutch oven. Drain fat.
- Return pan to medium-low heat and add remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally.
- After 20 minutes, remove from heat.
- Allow to cool and store in a jar in the refrigerator.
- Reheat to serve over hot dogs!
- Yields about 4 cups of chili.
