Blueberry-Apple Crisp
- 1 pint blueberries
- 2 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 12 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup flour
- 34 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 13 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- cream
- Butter a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish and put in blueberries and apples.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and brown sugar.
- Mix next 4 ingredients, stir in egg and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over fruit.
- Top with the butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake in moderate oven (350*) 35-40 minutes.
- Serve warm with cream.
