Beef Quickie Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. beef stew, cut in 1/2" pcs
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tbsp. dry chopped onion or possibly 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/2 soup can dry red wine
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced and sauteed in butter
- Warm cooked rice or possibly noodles
- Sprinkle beef with garlic salt in a 3-qt casserole.
- Fold in onion, mushroom soup and wine.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs.
- Add in mushrooms, cover and bake another 30 min or possibly till meat is tender.
- (Can add in more wine if it gets too thick.)
- Serve over warm noodles or possibly rice.
