Pineapple And Cream Cheese Salad Recipe
- 1 lg. cake Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1/8 c. salad dressing or possibly mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 1 sm. carton Cold Whip
- 1 pkg. Knox gelatin
- 1/2 pound miniature marshmallows (Kraft)
- Mix Knox gelatin with 1/8 c. cool water (set back to thicken).
- Cream cream cheese, salad dressing, sugar and lemon juice.
- Add in pineapple, then marshmallows.
- Add in 1/4 c. boiling water to the gelatin mix and add in to the other ingredients.
- Last, mix in the whipped cream.
- Place in refrigerator to set.
- Don't freeze.
- Optional: You may dot 1/2 maraschino cherries, grnd nuts or possibly both on top.
