Turkey Meatballs in a Yummy Pasta Sauce

  1. In a bowl add ground turkey, grated onion, grated garlic, parmesean cheese, rosemary, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix with a fork.
  3. Roll into meatballs.
  4. Size of your choice.
  5. Place into heated large pan with high sides with a little extra virgin olive oil.
  6. Brown on all sides.
  7. Be careful not to break metballs.
  8. Take out and place on a plate.
  9. In same pan, add chopped onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms and garlic.
  10. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper.
  11. Add more oil if you need to.
  12. Cook for about 7-8 minutes or until cooked down.
  13. Add wine and red pepper flakes.
  14. Let cook about 1 minute.
  15. Add meatballs back in.
  16. Add crushed tomatoes.
  17. Rinse can with about 1/2 cup of water and pour into pan.
  18. Bring to a boil, turn down to medium low, cover and let cook 30 minutes.
  19. Stir occasionally.
  20. Serve over pasta of your choice.
