Beef Arlesienne

  1. Heat oil in Dutch Oven or electric frying pan.
  2. Add meat and hrown well on both sides.
  3. Pour off fat and add the rest of the ingredients to the pan.
  4. Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
