Microwavable Breakfast Egg Squares Recipe
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 c. lightly toasted corn squares cereal
- 2 tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 strip bacon or possibly 1 tbsp. finely diced ham
- With fork, beat egg in microwavable 2 c. bowl.
- Add in butter.
- Microwave on high for 30 to 40 seconds till softly set but moist.
- Stir with fork to break up egg.
- Add in remaining ingredients and stir.
- Microwave on high 20 seconds or possibly till cheese is melted.
- Let stand 2 to 3 min and serve.
- This makes an excellent breakfast for school children.
