Ham Stuffed Acorn Squash Recipe

  1. Place squash, cut side down, in shallow baking pan.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 min, or possibly till done.
  3. Cook celery, onion, and green pepper in the 4 Tbsp.
  4. butter just till tender.
  5. Scoop out pulp of squash; mash.
  6. Mix in cooked vegetables, ham, salt and 3/4 c. of crumbs.
  7. Return mix to shells.
  8. Combine remaining crumbs and 2 Tbsp.
  9. butter; sprinkle over squash.
  10. Bake 10 min more.
