My Mom's Game-Day Chili

  1. Combine all "Into the Pot" ingredients either in a large soup pot or a large crockpot.
  2. Add "*TO TASTE* Into the Pot" ingredients according to your preferences.
  3. If using a soup pot, bring to a boil, them simmer (low heat) for a while until it tastes good.
  4. If using a crockpot, you can cook it on high for a few hours or on low for most of the day.
  5. I set out topping options for folks to top their individual servings.
  6. I always serve mine with buttered cornbread and a big salad.
  7. This recipe is easily cut in half if you're just making it for dinner for your family :-)
