Tiramisu Cake

  1. In a large bowl combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup (125 ml) powdered sugar and 3 Tbsp (45 ml).

  3. Beat until smooth.
  4. Whip cream, 1/4 cup (60 ml) powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp (30 ml).

  6. Beat to stiff peaks.
  7. 1/2 Fold of whipped cream into cheese mixture.
  8. Cut cake into 3 layers.
  9. Place 1 layer on serving plate.
  10. Pierce with long tined fork.
  11. In a small bowl combine coffee and 1/4 cup (60 ml) liqueur.
  12. Drizzle over each layer as you assemble the cake.
  13. Spread first layer with 1/2 of cream cheese mixture.
  14. Add a second layer and remaining filling.
  15. Add third layer.
  16. Frost with remaining whipped cream mixture.
  17. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
  18. Drizzle with 1/4 cup (60 ml) fudge sauce heated with 1 to 2 Tbsp (30 ml).
