Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 (28 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 3 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 small can mushroom slices
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dried sweet basil leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- pinch of Italian seasoning
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- Stirring frequently, cook the first 5 ingredients until beef is browned. Add the remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Simmer at least 1 hour.
