Crazy Cheesy Apple Turnovers
- 1 bag of cheddar cheese curds(cut curds that you are using in half) You will probably use about 2 1/2 to 3 ounces
- 8 tbsp apple pie filling
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed, or a premade refrigerated pie crust
- Cut pastry or pie crust into 4 inch squares and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Brush egg around the edges of the pastry.
- Place 2 tablespoons apple pie filling and 2 tablespoons of cheese curds in the center of each.
- Fold over to form a triangle.
- Seal and brush the tops with egg.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake at 400 until golden and cooked through; 15 to 20 minutes.
