Stuffed Mushrooms

  1. Combine bacon, onion, and green pepper in 4-cup measure. Cover with paper towel and cook by microwave for 4 minutes, stirring once.
  2. Remove from microwave; pour off fat.
  3. Mix in salt, Worcestershire and cream cheese.
  4. Wash and dry mushrooms.
  5. Remove stems.
  6. Chop stems and add to bacon mixture.
  7. Fill mushrooms.
  8. In 2-cup measure, heat bread crumbs and butter in microwave for 1 minute; stir until well mixed.
  9. Press buttered crumbs on top of stuffed mushrooms.
  10. place half the mushrooms in 6 x 10 inch baking dish, filling side up.
  11. Add 1/4 cup hot water to baking dish and cook 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining mushrooms.
  12. Makes about 50.
