Incredibly Simple Pork and Tofu with Mentsuyu
- 200 grams Sliced pork chunks
- 1 block Tofu
- 1 Onion
- 100 ml Mentsuyu (2-3x concentrate)
- 200 ml Water
- 1 thumb Grated ginger
- Cut the onion into 8 mm thick slices.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the water and mentsuyu to a pan and when boiled also add the ginger, pork and onion.
- When the pork begins to change colour, add the tofu.
- Cover the tofu with the pork, and then cover with a lid.
- Simmer on a medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Once the 10 minutes is up it's ready!
- If you let it cool once and then warm it up again, it tastes even more amazing!

- Don't throw away any sauce that is leftover in the pan, let's use it for Mum's lunch.
- "Oyakodon with Freeze-Dried Tofu".
- You could use it on this as well "Chinese Cabbage & Eggs".
