Cherry Tomato Compote with Lemon Jello
- 10 Cherry tomatoes
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 150 ml Water
- 5 grams Gelatin powder
- 50 ml Boiling water
- Boil the cherry tomatoes to peel the skins.
- Add the water, sugar, and lemon juice to a pot and heat.
- Add the peeled cherry tomatoes.
- Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Place Step 2, with the liquid, into a Tupperware (or plastic) container, and let cool.
- Then let chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- After it has chilled overnight, separate the tomatoes from the liquid.
- Don't throw the liquid away as it will be used in the lemon jello!
- Dissolve the gelatin in hot water and then add to the simmered tomato liquid.
- Once hardened, break apart with a fork.
- Place the tomato compote onto Step 5 and enjoy.
