Peanut Butter Chip Brownies
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine (1 1/2 sticks)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. peanut butter chips
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended.
- In separate bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually blend into butter mixture.
- Stir in peanut butter chips.
- Spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Cut into bars.
- Makes about 36 brownies.
