Mama-Lee's Cold Chaser Chili
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 (16 ounce) cans dark red kidney beans
- 1 (16 ounce) can black beans
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes (diced is fine too)
- 1 medium green bell pepper
- 2 anaheim chilies
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large yellow onion
- 1 tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon coriander (optional)
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 12 teaspoon thyme
- 14 teaspoon cayenne (this is your heat, so use more if you like it spicy)
- 1 -2 bay leaf
- Directions:.
- Brown meat in skillet with onions and garlic, salt and pepper.
- Throw in crock pot with all the veggies chopped up.
- Drain cans of beans and put all remaining ingredients in with meat and close lid and leave it alone for 6 hours.
- YAY!
