24 Hour LettuceSalad Recipe
- 1 head lettuce
- 1/4 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1 c. sliced water chestnuts
- 1 pkg. frozen English peas
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 3 teaspoon sugar
- Parmesan cheese
- Bacon bits
- Shred lettuce.
- Layer lettuce, onions, celery and water chestnuts.
- Break peas apart and spread over top.
- Cover with mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle on sugar.
- Completely seal with Parmesan cheese.
- Top with bacon bits (just before serving).
- Chill overnight.
