Mother's Swiss Steak Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. round steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tbsp. Wesson oil
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 lg. onion
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 2 carrots
- 1 stick celery
- Lb.
- steak with flour.
- In pressure cooker, put Wesson oil.
- Brown steak on both sides, with lid off.
- Place vegetables around steak.
- Pour tomatoes over all.
- Close pressure cooker and cook 25 min at 15 pounds pressure.
- Remove lid.
- Cold slightly.
- Serve with rice (optional).
