Fettucini Alfredo The Real Thing

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet and lightly saute the garlic.
  2. Do not brown the garlic.
  3. Add the cream/half and half mixture and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cheeses and allow to melt.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Mix with the cooked (and drained) pasta.
