Chocolate Leaf Cookie
- 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cup powered sugar( divided)
- 3/4 cup butter
- 4 oz philadelphia creme cheese( cubed)
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tbsp water
- 2/3 cup multi colored nonpareils
- 6 oz semi sweet chocolate ( divided)
- Mix flour, b.
- Soda, and 1 and 1/2 cup sugar until blended.Microwave butter, and 3 oz.
- Chocolate in microwavable bowl on High 2 min.until butter is melted.
- Add creme cheese.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture until blended.
- Refrigerate 30 min.
- Meanwhile melt remaining chocolate.
- Beat corn syrup, water and remaining sugar until blended.
- Spoon into plastic bag.
- Heat oven to 375 .
- Roll dough to 1/8 thickness.
- On floured surface.
- Use 3" cookie cutter.
- Place 2" apart on parchment paper on cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 min.
- Until edges are lightly brown.
- Cool...
- Cut a small piece off one bottom corner if plastic bag.
- Use to pipe icing onto the cookie.
- Sprinkle with non paraeils.
