Frito Chili Pie
- 12 lb cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 (15 ounce) cans chili, heated
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) package Fritos corn chips, crushed
- 1 (10 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
- Cover bottom of a 13 x 9 pan with a layer of Fritoes, sprinkle with onion, then cheese.
- Pour heated chili on top of that.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top of chili (need at least three layers).
- Bake at 350 until cheese is melted.
- Omit cheese soup if a drier casserole is preferred.
