Hazelnut Orange Coconut Bars
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated orange zest
- 1 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 1/3 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
- Powdered sugar
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon orange zest in bowl.
- Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 20-22 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Combine all filling ingredients except coconut, hazelnuts and powdered sugar in bowl; mix well.
- Stir in coconut.
- Pour over hot, partially baked crust.
- Sprinkle with hazelnuts.
- Bake 20-25 minutes or until center is set.
- Cool completely.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
