One of a Kind Stuffing

  1. In large skillet, melt 1 cup butter.
  2. Saute in butter until slightly tender onion, carrot, celery, pecans, mushrooms, black olives, and poultry seasoning.
  3. In large bowl, gently combine skillet contents with bread cubes.
  4. Drizzle with chicken broth.
  5. Place stuffing mixture in large greased glass casserole.
  6. Top with butter slices and cover with foil, refrigerating overnight.
  7. Bake at 375 covered for 45 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for 15 more minutes.
