Maple Ice Cream Pie
- 1 c. chocolate wafer crumbs (about 23 cookies)
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 (7 1/2 oz.) jars marshmallow cream
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. maple extract
- 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- additional frozen whipped topping, chocolate curls and maraschino cherry (for garnish, if you wish)
- In a small bowl, combine crumbs and butter.
- Press into bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.
- In mixer bowl, beat marshmallow cream and sour cream until well blended.
- Add ice cream, walnuts and maple extract; beat well.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Cover and freeze overnight, or until needed.
- Makes 12 servings.
