Bacon Potato Chowder
- 8 OR
- more slices of bacon, cut into pieces
- 2 cups 1/2 inch cubed potatoes
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1-1/4 cup milk
- 1 can (10 oz.) condensed cream of chicken
- mushroom soup
- 1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn
- use frozen corn
- 1/4 tsp. pepper and salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves (optional)
- In 3 Quart saucepan cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or put in the microwave.
- Cook potatoes stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender 15-20 minutes.
- Cut into cubes.
- Add all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
