Spicy Spring Cabbage and Bean Sprout Salad
- 1/2 packet Bean sprouts
- 3 to 4 leaves Cabbage (shredded)
- 2 slice Thinly-sliced ham
- 5 cm Japanese leek
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- In a bowl mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and finely chopped Japanese leek.
- Cook the bean sprouts and cabbage for 30 seconds in the microwave, allowing them to retain their crispness.
- Add the sprouts and cabbage together with the sliced ham to the dressing.
- For children, serve as is; for adults, sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper.
