Clam Macadamia Puffs
- 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (6-1/2 oz.) minced clams, drained
- 1 tsp. minced scallion
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- Salt, to taste
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 3/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 20 Saltine crackers
- 1 tbsp. ground macadamia nuts
- 1 tsp. paprika
- Whip cream cheese thoroughly.
- Add clams; mix well.
- Add scallions, chopped nuts, salt, cayenne pepper and Worcestershire sauce; whip again.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Preheat oven to 300F.
- Pile clam mixture generously onto crackers.
- Sprinkle with ground macadamia nuts and paprika.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve hot.
