Acorn Squash With Creamed Onions Recipe

  1. Wash, cut in half length-wise and remove seeds from squash.
  2. Place in shallow pan, cut side down.
  3. Bake at 325 until almost tender (45 to 50 minutes.)
  4. Turn cut side up and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Continue baking till tender (15 to 20 more min.)
  6. Heat onions according to package directions.
  7. Spoon into squash centers.
  8. Sprinkle with paprika.
  9. Serves 6 to 8
