Tomato Bean Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) can kidney beans
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can tomato soup
- 1 (16 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp. veg. oil
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet basil, oregano & season salt
- Black pepper
- 1/3 c. elbow macaroni or possibly sm. shells
- 5 c. boiling water
- Cook macaroni or possibly shells in large saucepan in boiling water 15 min.
- While still boiling, add in tomato soup and stewed tomatoes.
- Simmer 10 min.
- In skillet saute/fry onion, green pepper, garlic, basil, oregano.
- Add in to simmering mix, salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve.
