Porcupine In Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 c. each: finely chopped onion, celery and green pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. each: black pepper and garlic powder
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1/3 c. cheese spread
- Combine beef, rice, onion, celery, green pepper, egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Form into 1 1/2-inch balls, about 18.
- Place into lightly greased, shallow 2 1/2-quart casserole.
- Combine soup, water and catsup; bring to a boil and pour over meat balls.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and stir in cheese spread.
