Easy Pad Gra Prao (Stir Fried Rice with Ground Meat and Basil)
- 150 grams Ground chicken
- 150 grams Ground pork
- 20 Sweet basil leaves (or dried basil)
- 3 Green bell peppers
- 3 big ones Dried red chili peppers (or Ichimi spice)
- 4 cm Tubed garlic
- 2 tsp Fish sauce
- 3 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Sake
- Combine the ingredients beforehand.
- Remove the seeds from the bell peppers and red chili peppers.
- Cut into small pieces.
- Roughly chop the basil.
- Heat a frying pan and add the oil, garlic paste and red chili peppers (as the garlic is already grated, it'll become fragrant immediately).
- Saute the ground chicken and pork well.
- Saute the bell peppers next.
- Pour in the combined ingredients and mix.
- Stir in the basil and mix well.
- Turn off the heat.
- Transfer over a pile of rice and top with a sunny side up.
