Ham and Poppy Seed Sandwich Bites

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice buns without cutting all the way through.
  3. In bowl, combine butter, onions, Dijon mustard and poppy seeds.
  4. Add hot pepper sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spread 1 to 2 teaspoons of sauce on underside of each bun top.
  6. Fill each bun with half slice cheese and half sice of ham.
  7. Arrange sandwiches on baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese and butter have melted.
