Feather Fudge Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
  3. Blend in chocolate squares melted and cooled.
  4. Sift together 2 1/2 cups cake flour. Add baking soda and salt.
  5. Add to creamed mixture alternately with cold water, beating after each addition.
  6. Bake in two 9 x 1 1/2-inch round cake pans, lightly greased and floured.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
  8. You can use 2 to 3 envelopes Nestle Choco Bake instead of chocolate squares, also Hershey's cocoa powdered can be used; just follow package directions.
  9. Substitute cake flour for regular, 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons equals 1 cup cake flour.
