Vermicelli Carbonara Recipe
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 med. green pepper
- 1 med. onion
- 3 Large eggs
- 4 ounce. dry chunk Romano cheese
- 8 ounce. pkg. vermicelli
- 1 lg. pot heated in oven at 400 degrees
- Fry bacon crisp, crumble up, set aside.
- Saute/fry minced green peppers and onions till tender; set aside.
- Fork beat Large eggs; set aside.
- Grate Romano; set aside.
- Place large pot in oven at 400 degrees.
- Cook vermicelli and drain.
- Stir in Large eggs, coating vermicelli well.
- Turn into warm pot.
- Quickly add in Romano and stir.
- Add in pepper, onion and bacon, stir well.
- Serve.
