Stuffed Giant Shells
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/3 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 18 giant shells
- 2 (15 1/2 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Brown the meat, onion, garlic, salt and pepper until crumbly. Drain and cool.
- Stir in Mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, parsley and egg.
- Cook shells until tender.
- Drain and stuff with meat mixture.
- Spoon 1/4 sauce over baking dish (9 x 13 x 2-inches). Place filled shells in dish, side by side.
- Add water to remaining spaghetti sauce and pour over shells.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350u0b0.
