Elderflower cordial recipe

  1. Heat the water and sugar together, add the citric acid and bring to the boil.
  2. Pour onto the Elderflower heads, the sliced lemons and the lemon peelings.
  3. Stir well, and cover with cling film.
  4. Keep refrigerated for 4 days and then strain.
  5. Vac pack the liquid.
  6. For best results, dilute with sparkling water or prosecco, lemon slices and fresh mint.
