Red Grape Dessert Fondue

  1. In a medium saucepan, gradually stir some of the red grape juice into the cornstarch until smooth.
  2. Add remaining juice and the grape jelly.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil and starts to thicken.
  4. Keep stirring while cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. If mixture begins to boil too hard, reduce the heat a bit.
  6. Stir in brandy, if using.
  7. Transfer mixture to a fondue pot.
  8. Keep warm for serving.
