Crunchy Peanut Butter-Cereal Treats
- 3/4 cup butter
- 160 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows
- 1 qt. NUTTER BUTTER Creme Variegate
- 1-1/2 gal. crisp rice cereal
- 12 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
- Heat butter, marshmallows and Variegate in double boiler on low heat until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantlly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add cereal; mix well.
- Press evenly into 4 greased half-hotel pans (or into 1 greased half-hotel pan for trial recipe).
- Cool completely.
- Remove cereal mixture from pans.
- Cut each block into 6 squares, then cut each square diagonally into 2 triangles.
- Dip 1 end of each triangle in chocolate; place on wire racks.
- Let stand until chocolate is firm.
