Apple Custard Meringue Recipe

  2. Line a tart tin with the short pastry, prick with a fork and bake 350 F oven 15 min till set.

  4. Mix apple, custard, and cinnamon and pour into the pastry shell.

  6. Make a meringue by whisking egg whites and sugar till thick.

  8. Pile meringue on top of apple, return to a warm oven to brown slightly.
