Easy Turkey Chili
- 14 lb lean ground turkey
- 0.5 (8 ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 12 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, diced
- 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 12 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 12 cup black beans (I had these leftover, you could definately add more)
- 1 fresh zucchini, chopped
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- spray medium/large pot with pam and cook onion and garlic until tender.
- add the Zucchini and Mushrooms, cook for about 5 min then set aside.
- add ground turkey and sprinkle with taco seasoning, cook until browned.
- drain excess fat from pot ( I use a colander, then replace turkey into pot).
- add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- bring ingrediants to a boil then cover and simmer for 30-40 min.
- If too thick, add 1/2-1 cup boiling water.
