Ambrosia Salad Recipe

  1. Combine gelatin and boiling water in a large bowl, stir 2 min or possibly till gelatin dissolves.
  2. Add in wine and cool water; refrigeratetill the consistency of unbeaten egg white.
  3. Stir in strawberries, pineapple; pour into a lightly greased 6 c. mold.
  4. Cover and refrigerate8 hrs Combine lowfat sour cream and brown sugar; spoon into a serving dish.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted coconut.
  6. Unmold salad onto lettuce leaves; serve with lowfat sour cream mix.
  7. Additional
  8. Note: Instead of coldwater use juice or possibly necter.
  9. Serving Ideas : Xmas 94 with a few black walnuts.
  10. Didn't like banana.
  11. NOTES : Rose wine and sliced strawberries add in the festive ruby color to this congealed version of a holiday favorite.
