Otto'S Onion Pie

  1. Simmer onions until soft in hot butter.
  2. Turn into pie shell. Combine 3/4 cup milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and eggs.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Blend remaining 1/4 cup milk with flour; stir in cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Mix well; pour over onions in pie shell. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  6. Bake at 325u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Pie should be firm in center.
  7. If desired, garnish with bacon or cooked ham.
