Jello Cake

  1. Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup boiling water.
  2. Add 1/2 cup cold water and set aside at room temp.
  3. Mix and bake cake as directed in 9x13 pan.
  4. Cool 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Poke holes in cake with end of wooden spoon, about 1 1/2 inches apart.
  6. With cup, slowly pour jello mixture into holes.
  7. Refrigerate cake and prepare topping.
  8. In chilled bowl, blend whipped topping mix, pudding, cold milk and vanilla til stiff, 3 to 8 minutes.
  9. Immediately frost cake.
  10. Store in refrigerator and serve chilled.
