Halibut Delight

  1. Combine flour, garlic powder, curry powder, marjoram, baking powder, and lemon pepper.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Slowly add enough flat beer to make a thick batter.
  4. Dip halibut in batter and then roll in potato flakes.
  5. Let stand for 2 minutes.
  6. Deep fry in 375 degree F. fat until golden brown.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with a tartar sauce or a zesty tomato, horseradish sauce for dipping.
