Waikiki Meatballs Recipe

  1. MEATBALLS: Mix first 7 ingredients and shape into tiny meatballs.
  2. Brown in skillet with shortening.
  3. Remove meatballs.
  4. Keep hot.
  5. Pour fat from skillet.
  6. SAUCE: Mix cornstarch and sugar, stir in reserved syrup, vinegar and soy sauce.
  7. Pour into skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till mix thickens and boils.
  8. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  9. Add in meatballs, pineapple tidbits and green pepper.
  10. Heat through and serve over rice.
  11. Serve with vegetables, corn preferred.
