Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
  3. Combine all fruits and nuts in large bowl. Sift over them some of the flour combined with spices.
  4. Toss to coat thoroughly.
  5. Add remaining flour-spice mixture to first creamed mixture alternately with honey and soda.
  6. Combine with fruit and nut mixture and mix thoroughly.
  7. Pour into greased pan. Decorate with pineapple slices and bake in 275u0b0 oven for about one and one-half hours.
  8. Let cool before removing from pan.
  9. Do not open stove door on your cake.
