Yummy Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- 2 12 lbs potatoes, peeled, quartered
- 3 -4 garlic cloves
- 1 (250 g) containerphiladelphia herb & garlic cream cheese spread
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- cook the potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large covered saucepan 15 to 20 minute or until potatoes are tender; drain.
- Return to saucepan.
- add the remaining ingredients; mash with potato masher or ricer until smooth.
- We sometimes add a small dash of butter for taste, we have substituted with just plain cream cheese, but we prefer Herb & Garlic.
