Penny Burgers
- 3 hot dogs, sliced thin
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 13 cup evaporated milk
- butter
- Mix all ingredients except butter.
- Shape into 6 patties about 1 inch thick; spread both sides of the patties with the butter.
- Broil over hot coals, turning once, about 13 to 15 minutes total cooking time.
- Serve in toasted bun.
- Pass Ketchup, mustard, and hamburger and hot dog relish.
- You can toast buns over the grill the last 4 minutes.
- These can be made in a george foreman grill in about half the time or on the stove in a pan for the 13-15 minute.
