Chops And Spuds Oven Bake
- 4 pork chops
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 2 small onions
- 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced or canned
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced in 1/4 inch dices
- curry powder
- Velveeta cheese
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- salt
- pepper
- flour
- Salt
- and
- pepper chops.
- Coat with flour.
- Rub in dash of curry
- powder
- on
- each
- side.
- Heat
- oil in heavy skillet. Brown chops
- on each side.
- Place in oblong dish.
- Cook onions in skillet until soft.
- Add mushroom soup and 2 cans of water. Add sliced mushrooms; bring up heat until the mixture bubbles. Place potatoes
- in dish between chops.
- Pour mushroom mixture over chops and potatoes.
- Place in oven preheated to 350u0b0 and bake 1tour. Add
- 1/4
- Velveeta cheese over top of chops and potatoes.
- Bake until
- cheese melts.
- Serve with hot biscuits and butter.
